The delicately painted creations of Jerusalem Miniatures capture the beauty and romanticism of scenes from all over Israel, and especially from Jerusalem. They are a creation of artist Michael Folickmann, whose roots are in the south of France, and he draws his inspiration from another Frenchman, Marc Chagall. Folickmann's techniques are practiced by new Olim (new immigrants), who have come home to Israel to find their place in their new society, creating memorable representations of their beautiful country.
